About the Guide
In 2006, ACE printed the final hardbound edition of the Guide. That year, the online version became the sole source of information for all courses and occupations ACE has evaluated to date for the armed services. It is updated daily and provides the user with easy access to courses and occupations using the search criteria of keywords, course numbers, training location, dates completed, and ACE identification number.

- Joint Statement on the Transfer and Award of Credit is intended to serve as a guide for institutions developing or reviewing policies dealing with transfer, acceptance, and award of credit.
- Course Evaluation System describes how service school courses are evaluated for inclusion in the Guide.
- Occupation Evaluation System describes how military occupations are evaluated for inclusion in the Guide. This section also contains background information on the following military classification systems:
- Credit Terms defines key terms used in credit recommendations.
- Other Resources identifies points of contact for obtaining military transcripts and test results.
